Communication and Creative Industry: from theoretical concepts to academic practices in Portugal

This study aims to reflect on the relationship between communication and creative industries, considering the implications in communication education and training considering these political and economic transformations from an understanding of the creative economy as one that does not submit culture to the dynamics of the market, but which subsidizes - through knowledge of economic relations - cultural policies for the social and economic development of countries and of which communication participates with its activities, technologies and professionals.
