Master in Communication and Creative Industries Management

The Master in Communication and Creative Industries Management is an A3ES accredited master's degree in the scientific area of Communication Sciences. 120 ECTS are required for the master's degree.

The MSc provides advanced training in areas related to Communication and Creative Industries Management, aimed at those who wish to pursue a professional or research career in this area.

Among its main objectives the following are highlighted:

  • To provide postgraduate training in Communication and Creative Industries Management, according to a model that combines the teaching / learning of the subjects taught with a strand that is intended to provide students with theoretical tools and practices that guide professional experiences;
  • To encourage the practice of research in Communication and Creative Industries, encouraging student autonomy in their academic and professional career;
  • To prepare professionals with solid knowledge that enhance value creation in creative and cultural industries and products;
  • To raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property as a strategic asset of organizations in the elaboration of creative content, products and brands;
  • To identify and analyze critical success factors in the creative sector, namely at the level of communication strategies, the role of communication, media, marketing, business models, entrepreneurship, project design and business plans and good management practices.

The Master in Communication and Management of Creative Industries was structured in order to promote the acquisition of the following competencies:

  • Solid theoretical formation in the field of Communication Sciences and Business Sciences applied to the cross-sectional field of Creative Industries;
  • The ability to produce Dissertations, Stage and Project Reports, as well as other academic and market studies, based on the contemporary discussion and practice of its field of activity;
  • The ability to participate in theoretical and applied research programs, both in their area of expertise and in the interface between Communication Sciences and Creative Industries;
  • Skills for scientific communication and for practices applied to professions and projects in the field of Communication Sciences and Creative Industries;
  • Scientific, technical and relational skills that foster the entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial attitude in the creation of creative businesses and projects that contribute to regional and national development in a global context
